What to include

Help us refer you to the right trainer

The more we know, the better the match. Only your contact details, ZIP code and the kind of help you want are required.

Your dog

Name, breed and age, and whether this is a puppy, an adult or a rescue.

What you want help with

Basic obedience, manners, leash walking, recall, anxiety or reactivity. Plain words are fine.

Your location

Your ZIP code tells us which trainers serve your area and whether in-person or virtual training fits.

How it works

From request to trainer in three steps

K9PN is a referral service. We do not train dogs. Trainers set their own prices and programs.

1. Tell us what you need

Share your dog's age and breed, whether you want board and train, 1-on-1 sessions or virtual training (Florida only for now), and where you live. It takes about two minutes and costs nothing.

2. We match you with a trainer

K9PN is a referral service. Based on what you need and where you live, we refer your request to a professional trainer who offers it.

3. The trainer calls you back

The trainer calls you to talk through your goals, pricing and scheduling. You decide whether it is a fit.

How a request works

K9PN is a referral service and does not train dogs. We read your request, then refer it to a professional trainer who offers the kind of training you asked for and covers your ZIP code. You never have to choose a trainer from a list, and you are under no obligation to hire whoever calls.

The trainer sets their own prices and schedule. Sending a request costs you nothing.

Which format fits your dog?

If you are not sure, choose "Not sure" in the form and describe your dog. The trainer will help you decide between board and train (your dog stays with the trainer), 1-on-1 sessions (the trainer coaches you and your dog together) and virtual coaching (live video from home, currently for Florida residents).

Common questions

Is K9PN a dog training company?

No. K9PN is a referral service and does not train dogs. We pass your request to a professional trainer we work with who offers the kind of training you asked for and serves your area. It costs you nothing to send a request, and you decide whether to work with the trainer who calls you.
