K9 Professional Network Inc ("K9PN," "we," "us") builds websites, CRM systems and marketing for pet service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through k9pn.com and our related pages, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Name, business name, email address, phone number, city/state and the package you're interested in, when you submit a form, request a quote, or start a chat with us.
- Anything you send us by email, text message, chat or phone call.
- Business details you share so we can build your site or CRM (logo, photos, service list, hours, pricing, review links).
Information collected automatically
- Standard web/analytics data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and time on page.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep the site working, remember form progress, and measure which pages lead to inquiries.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and we do not collect payment card numbers on this site — payments, when applicable, are processed by our payment processor.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and follow up about the service you asked about.
- To deliver, support and improve the website, CRM and marketing services you hire us for.
- To send appointment reminders, project updates and, if you opt in, occasional marketing messages.
- To operate and secure our site, prevent abuse, and meet legal or tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
3. Text messaging (SMS)
Consent is separate and optional. If you give us your mobile number and opt in, we may send you service-related and account texts (appointment confirmations, project updates, replies to your questions) and, where you agreed to it, occasional promotional texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of purchasing anything from us.
Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also email us and we'll remove your number.
We do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Text-message originator opt-in data is not shared with anyone.
4. Email
Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link in every message. Unsubscribing stops marketing email but not necessary messages about a project or account you have with us.
5. Service providers we use
We rely on a small number of vendors to run the business, and they only receive what they need to perform their function:
- HighLevel (LeadConnector) — website hosting, CRM, forms, calendars, email and SMS delivery.
- Payment processor — billing and subscription payments (card details go directly to them, not to us).
- Analytics and advertising platforms — aggregate site measurement and campaign reporting.
- Email and productivity providers — communication and document storage.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business.
6. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and client records for as long as needed to serve you and to satisfy legal, accounting and tax requirements, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see Section 8).
7. Security
We use reputable hosted platforms with encryption in transit, limit account access to those who need it, and use strong authentication. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
- Access, correction and deletion — email us and we will confirm, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- Opt out — unsubscribe from email, reply STOP to text messages, or ask us to stop calling.
- Cookies — most browsers let you block or delete cookies; parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
- Do Not Track — our site does not respond to Do Not Track signals.
Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights to know, delete, correct, port your data, or object to certain processing. We honor these requests regardless of residency, and we will not discriminate against you for making one.
9. Third-party links
Our pages may link to other sites (for example a client's website, a Google Business Profile, or a social platform). Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised version on this page.
Dog owners and UK data protection
If you ask K9PN to find a dog trainer for you (for example through our UK pages), K9PN is the controller of the personal information you send us. K9PN is a referral service and does not train dogs.
- What we collect: your name, email address, phone number, postcode and city, and details about your dog and what you need help with.
- Why and on what basis: to match your request with a professional trainer who covers your area and pass your details to them so they can contact you. We rely on your consent when you submit the request form, and on our legitimate interest in running the referral service. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Who receives it: the trainer we refer you to, and the providers that run our systems (for example HighLevel for forms and messaging, and workflow, messaging and database providers). They only receive what they need.
- Transfers outside the UK: some of our providers are based in or process data in the United States. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as an adequacy arrangement or standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum.
- How long we keep it: only as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations, then we delete or anonymise it.
- Your rights: you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to our use of it, or receive a copy. Email us using the details below. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
